 1st flush yield question

I'm a newbe using the PF Tek 1/2 pint casing and PF P. cubensis spores. Just finished the first flush and yielded 251 wet grams and 28 grams dry with 12 cakes. This seems a bit low to me. Less tahn an ounce. Any feed back would be valuable. One modification to the PK Tek is that I used the regular 1/2 pint jars versus wide mouth. The wide mouth seems hard to come by now because of canning season I guess.

Well I wont be able to answer your question, but I think the experts need to know a few more specfics, such as your particular strain and what method of casing did you use?

Saying PF TEK answers that. It is a brown rice flour and vermiculite mix.

uh, 28grams is 1 ounce for one thing. and that is EXCELLENT first yeild for your first time growing, thats not a small amount, i wish i was bringing in ounces per 12 jars

I agree. An ounce for 12 cakes is pretty good. I don't think I have ever gotten that much off of 12 cakes in one flush before. Good job you've apparently done something right. Casing might give you a better yeild though.

Oh thought he meant PF tek for the 1/2 pinters not casing..
