yes. You can grow them in the Antarctic if you do it inside.

Or are you talking about doing it outside?

Well if he wants to do it in Oregon weather then it must be outside...unless he has weather inside.

You may have some success during the warm part of summer. I suggest starting them indoors and then moving them out. The fresh air will do them good.

One of my elves tried this and said they got way bigger in the fresh air and sunlight. But don't let the mycellium get dried out.
