How do u tell when Cooker hits 15psi?

I am getting ready to cook. How do u tell when the cooker hit 15 psi??? thanx

On some models you have diferent pressure gauge weights that sit on top and can be interchanged for diferent psi. If you have an inexpensive PC it might have a single fixed psi weight of 10 to 15 psi. 10 psi for an hour will work fine in case your stuck with a model like that.

Just for the hell of it I will suggest this: Bore a hole in your lid sufficient to accomodate a low pressure guage from an automotive store. Make sure that the hole is tight enough to prevent pressure leakage.

If you have a pressure gauge, it will say 15psi. If you have a jiggler (little weight on the top) then when it begins to jiggle and make alot of noise, then it is at 15 psi.
