P-Cooker question
    #490001 - 12/13/01 03:39 PM (21 years, 9 months ago)

Hey yall...
If my pressure cooker only goes to 10lbs of pressure will this still sterilize rye berries and rye grass seed good enough?
How long should I or could I cook at 10lbs without killing nutrients of grain?

there is a direct relationship between the amount of time needed and the pressure you cook at. If you half the pressure, you need to double the time. If you double pressure, you only need half the time.

Therefore you should cook for about a third longer than most other people and you should be fine.

PM me with any cultivation questions.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

oh yeah, you can't "kill nutrients of grain" you could cook for five hours if you wanted to. As long as it doesn't burn the grain and give you goo, you'd be fine.
