shroom powder? * 1

recently a friend of mine bought a bag of shrooms but like 90% of it was powdered. it didnt look like a whole ounce but it was the hardest
we ever tripped. there were still caps and stems but mostly shake.. does anyone know why? why would someone powder them? could it be
maybe it was the bottom of a big bag of dried mushies???

could have been the ass of the bag, people sometimes powder the mushrooms to make drinks, extracts, or to fill OO gel caps so that they dont have to taste it.

the reason they were so good by man was because they were powdered. You're little stomach likes to break things down, i.e. Mushrooms, pizza and poop. When they are powdered they are already broken down, easy cheese for your stomach and easy cheese for your mental state.

Lately i've been grinding my shrooms. I prefer them that way because i don't have to chew them which is the worst part in eating mushies. Now i just throw the powder into my mouth and wash it down with water or juice. The shrooms seem to hit faster (not sure though).
Besides that it's a lot easier to conceal because powder takes a lot less space than whole shrooms. Before i would put 4 - 5 grams in one baggie. With powder you can store 20 - 30 g. in that same ziplock baggie.

I powder my shrooms in an electric coffee grinder, pop em in my mouth and wash it down with a 750ml of Gulden-Draak. Powder does decrease the come up time significantly, but I dont think it makes the trip more intense....

One of those electric coffee bean/spice grinders can turn three grams of dry fruit into powder in about ten seconds. With mine it helps to shake it a bit while grinding to get everything mixed up well. Open it slow... you will get big plums of mushroom dust with an overpowering sickly/sweet smell. If you eat them in powder form on an empty tummy your comeup will be very quick. If you gelcap them, it will be much slower than normal.

When I shroomed it was with mainly shroom "dust". Was this the powder thing, or was it like shavings off the side of a dried mushroom or something? I got it off someone who wasn't very experienced and made it seem like this 'dust' really didnt do much.

i cut up my mushrooms well with a sharp knife, toss them in a teapot(cup) and add a bag of black licourice (sp) tea and this concoction causes madd trippin. Mushroom tea is the way to go.

Sounds like your probably got the shroom shake from a larger supply. Like you got the last ounce from a pound or something. Also, as bags of shrooms move from place to place, they tend to get broken up over time. Hopefully your dealer isnt powdering them on purpose. You start losing potency after you powder them, that is why most people powder just before consumption.
