syringe???
    #489589 - 12/13/01 07:18 AM (22 years, 2 days ago)

i made a syringe the other day (1st ever) from a print and it doen't look real cloudy or even purplish in color....
it looks like real clear water with little "sticks" floating in it...
the spores didn't break-up enough i'm assuming..
do you think it is o.k.???
i know that there is only one way to find out..but, comments and suggestions are appreciated.

If ya only made one syringe from one print (assuming the print was average dark) it should be a purpleish color if the spores are distributed evenly. You might wanna take a jar, sterilize it as much as possible, cover it with saran wrap. Then inject your syringe into it and suck it back up a few times, this will break apart your clumps and should give you a purplish tint to your syringe.

Peace.

I wouldn't start screwing around with your syringe, it has the spores in it, it is perfectly fine. The 'clumps' will rehydrate and break up a bit over time and with shaking. But you don't have to worry if they don't break up, there are lots of individual spores floating around unseen. Sometimes the purplish tint of the water is hard to tell unless you hold it up against a just clear water one.
