Looking for some help from someone please

I want to start cultivating. I am looking for someone basically to hold my hand and send me in the right directions to everythng I need to know. I bought a grow kit the other day and am know thinking it might be a waste after looking at some of these pictures. I dont want a very expensive setup but a simple system any help would be greatly appreciated

I?d go with the PF tek, sterilize in the pressure cooker for 45 minutes, and fruit in a rubbermaid plastic box using perlite humidification.

Hey Buster,
the best thing to do is take Anno's advice. There is also the MMGG or "Magic Mushroom Grower's guide" On the first effort, follow one of these faithfully step by step.

I hate posting in public but I'd like to clear something up: If you are using the straight PF Tek, 20 minutes @ 15 P.S.I. from the moment your cooker reaches optimum pressure is sufficient time to sterilize your growing medium. 45 minutes is overkill. Sorry Anno, not trying to flame you.

I don?t feel offended, I said 45 minutes because I had troubles with 20 or 30 minutes pressure cooking when I started with the PF tek.
Since I?ve been pressure cooking for 45 minutes I haven?t had 1 contaminated jar because of insufficient sterilisation.
So better be safe than sorry on that one.
