there are many issues with banks in latin america, perhaps those banks were american banks that represent part of an imperial apparatus of economic control and domination, having little or nothing to do with their country or society in the sense of which you seem to speak.

i havent seen any pics or reports to know exactly what businesses these were. I don't think your criticisms would be relevant to a situation where they were smashing starbucks and citi groups banks. i think its a very important detail. Even if it wasnt a starbucks, there are certain justifications for particular situations, situations of which we all seem ignorant.

I think anyone that smashes the windows of property belonging to innocent people should have their teeth smashed in. There is no logic to smashing the windows of Starbucks, at most it is only small minded envy dressed as a political creed, the political creed of cowardly whiners and losers who cover their faces and feel comfort in the anonymity of being part of a mindless crowd.
