If my dog was growing via the pf tek would he want to have the cakes placed in the terrrarium with the same orientaion as while colonizing in the jars or does it not matter?

His first couple tries he colonized the jars with the lid up and then placed the cakes in a terrarium verm. side down. All of his shrooms grew from the bottom of the cake. If verm. side was left up in the terrarium as it was in the jars would he produce a better flush?

I hope this makes sense.
