help on chamber?

just made a shelf so i can have 4 trays in my humidity chamber, my grow chamber is fully automated and consists of a aqurium heater,aquarium pump for Oxygen, and a tray full of perlite that takes up 1/2 of growing area which the aqurium heater sits in a vase in the perlite tray which makes my humidty at 85-90% and temp at 78-80 degrees my self has 3 inches above the top of the box of grow area is this enogh room for my cubs? Adding this shelf water will not drip on the cakes because of a little help from vasaline which water doesn't collect with this wonderful deterer against those pesky huge droplets just foggy humid air looking good? Any advise on the shelf inprovement would be greatly appriciated? thank you AzUrEpOwEr

Sounds like your off to a good start. However I have not heard of Vasaline being used as a repelant to water droplets developing due to condensation. If that really works and is praticle (ex: how many times ya got to "lube" the bottoms of the shelf anyway?) the only other issue that I can see is uneven co2 build up on top of the shelf. Need to move the air around a few times a day to keep the co2 from sitting on the shelf.

I hope that made sence and was in anyway helpfull.

Don't get any of that vasaline on your mushies. Petroleum. Makes your little guys get rosecomb and probably isn't the best stuff to be ingesting. Other than what jammer said, then it looks pretty good.

You might want to add a tiny flourecent light on top also.

I got a light, I justed cased 3 days ago mycelium peeking through how much longer till i take the cover off and scrape the cakes and see mushies.mmmmm cubensis.......
