Drying and a quik question.

This is my first time growing and so far everything is going well. Two of my mushrooms got real big and the caps started to turn purple, but not all over. I ftuited most of the shrooms and put them in a tupperware container. I didn't have any wire mesh so I jacked a screen from my neighboors apartment. On the first layer I put alot of damp-rid, on the second I put the mushrooms. Will this work?
