bigger cakes

is it possible to make one big cake instead of several different little cakes ?

yes, but that would not be very smart, your yeild would suffer substantialy. i beleave.
If you still want to do it, crumble all your cakes into a large container and press it down a little, keep humidity up. after a few days the peices should have grown together and formed one large cake. same deal as casing it. if your gana take the time to form a big cake, might as well though a casing layer on top. casings are the shit.
