How would you heat this?

The people @ the pet store keep wanting to sell me ceramic heat lamps. I don't think that's the best thing. What about fish-tank heaters?

ceramic lamps heat a fucken lot and are quite expensive too.
you'd get that terrarium much too hot, just get the tank heater and you're set.

try a fish tank heater set to about 85 f tighten the bag up a little bit

Yeah, that's what I thought too. The lady at the pet mart tried to have me burnin' my fuckin' house down, LOL.

So, you just stick the element in a cut off gallon milk jug half full of water and that's it? She said they burn out pretty fast when you set em' above 76 deg F.

why would it burn out faster if set above 76 degrees???? is it a shitty product. did you get the cheapest one

No, didn't get any thing yet... So I put the element in a jar of water with a little H2O2 in it, set the jar on the bottom of the chamber, put the thing on 85 deg F and thats about it huh?
