Emergency vacation growing setup
    #488042 - 12/11/01 10:18 PM (22 years, 2 months ago)

My roommate left for a month, leaving me with his 2 mj seedlings. I too am leaving soon (tomorrow morning) and i need to devise a a plan for sustaining the plants for the time we will be gone. I can put the lighting on a timer, but what about watering? I am trying to think of some setup with buckets dripping slowly. I haven't any funds to buy a pump or anything. What would be a good lighting schedule? I want them to stay smallish so they don't overgrow their cupboard.

What kind of lighting is it? How long will they be left unattended?... if your only gonna be gone a few days and your lights arent too powerful and produce alot of heat, then you can give them a good soaking before you leave and then right before you leave throw a bunch of ice cubes on top of the soil....this provides a steady all day watering then....all depends on how long you;ll be gone and such though.....

If you plan on not tending a plant for 15 days you need to set the timer for no more than 15 minutes a day and they still may not make it and they will be in full flower...........You should not do this to those poor girls , its just not right..........

Going crazy will drive you mad, but once you get there the rest is easy....All spores are not created equal!!!!!!!!!!! Sporeworks, Hawkseye, PF, they are completely viable with very strong genetics.

Ya know, Barstow isn't really on the "edge of the desert" man. It is IN the desert! (I'm a Thompson fan too).
