Who has the best Rye Grain substrate formula and what is it? What about flax, quinoa, hulled barly, brown rice, etc...

Let's see some field-tested recipes for people like me who want to branch out from from the silly BRF newbie formulas!

I do not think "I" have the best formula , but , this has worked for me. 1/1 rye grain water. PC for 90 mins. Shake well when somewhat cool. Carefully add whatever it is you like to use. Fruit directly from colonized grain or case. Peace

cheap wild bird seed and water
multi grain blends are for hungry hippies not mushies
the hobby is complicated enough, no need to make it more so.
