Made for tripping music by Dr....?

Sometime about a year ago somebody on this board posted about a doctor (who was also a musician) who maked music that works especially well for tripping. I think the doctor studies the brain's response to music (studying brain waves) and made the music with the intent of getting specific responses. Does anyone know who I'm talking about ?
