rehydrating

has anyone ever tried rehydrating dried mushrooms with alittle bit of water. would this work?...making them like fresh again? or would this cause some crazy unforseen damage to the alkaloids?
i was just wondering, because everyone is always complaining about how bad dried mushrooms taste,....so i was just thinking, why not just rehydrate them. then i thought...maybe there is a reason for NOT rehydrating them,....so i thought i would ask.
just covering all bases.

i dont want to make tea out of them, adding heat is definately not what i want to do.
i just want to know if adding water to dried mushrooms will make them taste like as if they were picked fresh.
and if there is anything bad about rehydrating them,...ie...decrease in potentcy?....

hate to sound like a bitch on this one, but......

...what do you think happens when you chew shrooms?...

Hint: your mouth is really wet

organic compounds are not generally damaged by water.
Psilocybin and Psilocin are very soluable in water, so, infact tea is a very good way
to consume da shroom. one of the big benifits of tea is the effects dont take as long to kick in.
