Greatest Yield

Just wondering from those who have used a variety of substrates, which has given you the greatest yield?

For me its been a combo of finch seed and brf. Curious as to what others think. (If you haven't grown or only used two or less substrates please don't respond). Haven't tried grain yet, but looking at the 9er tek it looks somewhat impressive.

The best yeilds i got were from straight millet - and also millet with a touch of rye...
Rye also gives large yields by its self, but i think millet really performs well - Ive also started using 250ml manure substrates and these have given me only a few shrooms, but these shrooms are HUGE!! The problem is that they constants fall over from their own weight...:-(
As for BRF - never again....:-)

I'm assuming you mean rye flour. Or rye grain? I should try plain white millet with brf, see if it makes any noticeable difference. I have also tried manure but always fall to contams (partially cause the only time i tried it I was a little lazy on the pastuerization). I would assume manure based substrates would always be on top now that I think about it. Shit always wins. Thanks for the reply, any others?
