Where's my mushrooms

This is my first attempt at growing mushrooms and it's not going well. Actually, it's not going at all. Sixteen days ago I innoculated a dozen jars using the MMGG. I followed the steps perfectly (from what I can tell), but something must have gone wrong. So far nothing at all has happened. There is no mycelium at all, but no contaminations either. I was using the B+ strain. Is there any hope for me, or should I start again? Has anyone had this happen or can tell me what went wrong? Thanks a lot.

You need to start over and get your syringes someplace else.

What temperatures do you keep the jars at?

I got the syrynges from the Spore Lab; I thought they had a good reputation.
I keep the jars at room temperature, about 65-70 degrees.

Did you make sure the syringe cooled before injecting it? Were the jars cool too for that matter?
My spores are from the Spore Lab, I've had no troubles. If you think its the spores, send him a shout, I'ms ure he'll replace them

at temps like that you should see growth already. Sporelab is a reputable vendor. My guess is you either boiled too long or hit the pressure release valve on ur pc and all the water boiled out of your substrate. Try again.

Well, I don't know what went wrong, but it was probably some mistake on my part. I have one syringe left, so I will make my second growing attempt this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
