what do you think?

I just recently innoculated a bunch of jars, (8 days ago). A 1/4 Peurto's, a 1/4 Gulf Coast and the other 1/2 Equador's. The Peurto's and the Gulf Coast are already about 25% colonized but the EQ's aren't doing shit, am I screwed or are they just slower to colonize? Never worked with them before and am kinda in the dark, any help would be appreciated!!!!!

Thanks, Hollywood

Keep the jars in the right place at the right temperature and have patience! They *will* grow, it just sometimes takes longer than you might expect...

Ecuadors are pretty slow compared to Puertos. They'll grow but I would expect you to have pins or even have harvested mushrooms off those other cakes before your able to birth the Eqs

i thought PR's were suppossed to be slow. Eq's are even slower than puertos? any comments on colonization time on the two species? i already innoced my PRs but am getting EQ's very soon. just wondered about the difference. thanks.
