do filter patches let water through?

i would assume so if you have them on there alone. they let it tiny microns of air. weigh your jars to keep track and see

Well, I'm using spawn bags. It's a fairly small patch considering the size of the bag and amount of substrate in them. I'm not sure what the size of the "holes" are in teh patch. But I thing that and O2 molecule is surely bigger than a H2O molecule so surely the water can get through. I just haven't seen or heard of anybody putting spawn bags in any kind of humidification chamber.

Anybody know if I need to keep this bag somewhere w/ proper humidification?
