NO.

you NEED jars. there are shortcuts to every method and Tek, but there is no real deviation from the classic Mason jar. You may have heard of the Tupperware/Microwave Tek. This doesnt work.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PRESSURE COOKER YOU ARE SHIT OUT OF LUCK.
if you plan on growing successfully and plan on making a real hobby outof this, you will need a real pressure cooker. boiling your jars is asking for contamination and problems. if you are going to do something, do it right. otherwise, you're wasting your time.

The old water boiler works good for the PF tek. Now if your going to do grains, get a pc. Start with the PF tek and work up. No short cuts in this hobby.

Good Luck

i have been very successful without a pc krill. i have only lost 2 out over 50 jars. that's good enough for me.

just be sure to be very clean with the procedure. use lots of rubbing alcohol and bleach. works for me. mason jars are a must though.

I agree with this Brian fellow. My post would have looked the same. Imagine it in place of this one.
