So many techs, so little experience

I just cant make my mind up as a total beginner what sort of tech I should use.
What I want are results that are worth my time. I just dont want one or two cakes with 10-20 mushrooms on them. I saw some great pics of people using casing, and in the same amount of closet space getting tripple the results (by visual comparison). Just wondering if its fine to case as long as you follow directions very carefull and be patient? Do you always get that much more when u case?

If you follow everything to the T you should have no problems... but....

... being your first time growing I would read A LOT on just about everything you can find about growing (ex. contam's, pinning, cold shocking, overlay, temp's, over-humidification, mushroom cycle lengths, etc...)

Most people start with the PF tek to get a general feel for the whole growing process, not so much as to get a large yield.

Without any experience I'd say you're more likely to fail(screw something important up) than most, but if you wanna take that risk its up to you. I would suggest using MMGG and casing using coc-coir. Very forgiving methods for beginners. And follow the teks to the "T", NO improvising. Anyhows thats my overrated two cents.

The fun in these little projects is that you don't know. It is the curiosity that drives me. I wonder what would happen if i did this or that. Figure it out and have fun while doing it.
