My first wbs-H/poo casings are pinning! let me tell you I couldent be happier. Even the casing I made from spent BRF cakes spawned to H/poo is starting to go like mad. ONE QUESTION- The casing layer looks a little dry if I give it a really fine misting you known nice and gentle like. Will this cause aborts or will it just give them more moisture?

IME, misting after a pinset DOES lead to more aborts...
IMO, (Like the acronyms?) - Pump the humidity up to %100 for a few hours . If the casing layer really is dry, it will suck the moisture from the air.
If you are using a martha with an ultra-sonic, get that chamber fogged like a horror movie. It will take care of that problem real fast.
If you are using a large bin, just mist the sides of the container. If it is dry, the water will run down and get soaked up into the perimeter of the casing layer right away - and the added h20 will raise humidity, helping to moisten the rest of the casing.
Generally, water-drops (no matter how careful you are with a hand sprayer) don't do pins much of a favor. You are better off keeping the humidity on the higher side until next flush (when you can mist the casing before pinset, right after harvest) - and letting all the mushies develop than to loose a bunch of them and only have a few develop.
Thats just IME (heh) though.
Good luck man.

OK thanks alot. I should have posted what kind of FC I am using. Its really just a custum built using Plastic sheeting and some really good tape they use for sealing up the housewrap. Working so far. I think I will crank up the humidity. Maybe try misting just one of the small casings and see what happens wont know otherwise.
