Pink Floyd & The Wizard of Oz
    #4840350 - 10/23/05 02:17 AM (18 years, 5 months ago)

Random Question,

Does anyone happen to know which version of the movie "The Wizard of Oz" matches with the music written by Pink Floyd on the "Dark Side of the Moon" album. And also when to start the CD according to a reference on-screen (I've heard that it's the third roar of te MGM lion - don't know for sure).

I've tried this before with my DVD version of W. of Oz and it noticably qued somewhat correctly, but I think there may have been timing issues.

Anyway, random question but any help is much appreciated.

Peace, love.

Original black & white version.

I think you can use Kazaa, try searching for OZ and Pink Floyd, I think there are a couple copies already dubbed at the appropriate place..

It is kinda freaky and at certain points does correspond with the story.

Here's a few:

At one point Dorothy falls off a fence and the music drops with her.

The wicked witch of the west shows and the music says "Black.. & Blue..." the witch is blue and she is wearing black.

The scarecrow starts dancing as it starts saying "the lunatic is in my head"...

"2001: A Space Odyssey" synced up with "Echoes" is much more interesting IMO. I think you can also find it with some P2P programs.
