growing by the moon?

Has anyone ever noticed that certain times of the month result in faster or slower growth for either the mycelium or for the fruits? Here is post for a lunar planting cycle. I am going to start using it and see if it makes any difference on time and overall growth. Any input on this would be welcome.

eehem. Moon? Officer Doofity? Seriously. People have been using lunar phases to dictate their agriculture for a good long while now. Especially in the cultures where many of these species grow.

I doubt that your mushrooms will be affected by the moon's position in the sky. Unless of course you plan to place them on the beach. But I bet that they look cool in the moonlight with the evening dew still laced over the caps.
