Everything is made of atoms -everything.
Atoms are made of energy.
Most have thought this, but here is my question or quandry if you will.
Why can't some molecules go through others?
I can walk through air and light,
why cant i walk through a building?
Why do so many natural occurances have a mathematical basis?
The basis of nature is to be random.
Why isn't nature random.
My belief is that nature has set rules, like a computer game if you will. Hopefully you have played the SIMS, they eat, drink, dream, pee, play on the computer, and die. Actually it's quite disturbing how real this game can be. So whats to tell us we arent a computer game? Seriously, these set rules seem to bother me and make me think that only something so set would have to be a program. What if we are only a computer program, what if we are some crappy game on some kid's gameboy, or a novelty game that comes on a keychain in some crappy drugstore?
Are you real?
-------------------- " I'm somewhere where I don't know where I am. "
or what if no one exists here but me,or the ego that i call me, and every one else is in my head and nothing has any substance but the substance which i have been told IS really there? what if every thing that we know is only so because weve been told since birth that THIS is how things are? like the truman show, this is reality to us because weve been told over and over that this is reality, and we believe this because its all we know, or all weve been told.when you look at a tree, you say to yourself "thats a tree". but for instance on mushrooms you could look at the same tree and see it completely different. maybe we would see things this way all along if we were taught, from a young age. but no, a rock is a rock, a hand is a hand, and a tree is merely a tree.maybe someday well learn that everything is made of living breathing light.
Firstly we don't walk through the air molecules, rather they bounce off of us and go around us. A wall has a higher density, and therefore will not bulge at your impact (but your nose will).
The thing about the rules is something one can ponder on though. If it's a program I think McKenna had a great analogy. The rules would be written in some kind of universal prgramming *languaga*, which we could learn to hack... And guess what tools we can use to learn how to do this according to McKenna? :)
Besides, even the atoms are made of smaller things, so I think you could go deeper, and deeper, and deeper, never reaching the bottom.
Am I real? I don't think so. Prove it? How? I don't know how to prove I'm not real, maybe I am real after all?
Eternally boggled, flummoxed, bewildered and surprised.
