What the adv and the dis adv of Picking Them in flushes and Picking them one by one because My 1 mushroom Was like 4 times the size of the others and it veil broke And i dont want to make Pins So If i didnt pick it IT would be dead by the time the other pins were ready to break there veils thanxz

Advantages of picking one at a time when they are ready: You don't get spores all over the place. You can pick the big ones and leave the premature ones.
Disadvantages: You run a risk of pulling up some smaller mushrooms if they are clumped together

Advantages of picking them all at once, regardless of maturity: You pick the whole casing clean.
Disadvantages: The mature shrooms will drop their spores, and you will lose some mushrooms mass by picking the immature ones.

If you see a mushrooms with a broken veil and all the other ones are small, pick it. Just try not to pull up any of the small ones when you pick it.

thanxz i was thinking Along the same lines :) just worried That i will get smaller flushes :)

You will find that they will mostly all be ready at the same time. If the biggest ones are opening, then it's time to pick them all. Those little guys will not grow to be big ones unless they are a 2nd flush coming in. For the most part, the little guys will remain as abhorts.
