casing flush question

OK I've done cakes before but this is my first time doing casing. The question I have is I know after each flush with a cake you are suppose to cold shock/dunk the cakes for about 24 hours. Well with casing what do you do after each flush. This is what I have done so far so you have an idea of what I'm working with. I crumbled the mycelium from the colonized jars on a layer of wet verm. and covered with aluminum foil and put it back in the TIT for like 3 days and then put my sterilized casing layer on top on I think 10/10 and on about 10/18ish I started seeing little pin heads. Well the pin heads are getting bigger and forming the real deal. So in a matter of a few more days it will be ready to pick.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated
