Best Birdseed tek? Best seed?

Hey guys, I am buying my first mason quart jars
tonight. found four boxes of 12 at the thrift store for three bucks a box!!! LOL!! At the ralphs next to my house they are close to twenty bux!!! So, headed there after work, will have both pressure cookers sterilizing them tonight...
And then, well hopefully I can pack them with birdseed and sterilize that. Beginning to realize casings are the way to go... Er, before anyone disputes that, I mean the next step for me at this point in time. :)
But in the meantime, I need the BEST birdseed tek anyone knows, I have a couple at home, but not many.

And the best birdseed is, white millet??
I would appreciate all replies as usual :)

Use white millet - and i make millet cakes by using two cups of verm to one cup water and one cup of millet (90% millet and 10% rye or brf to make the cake stick together) and it works well - remember to soak the millet for about 4 hours+ to hydrate it and youlll be laughing
