A Sea of Copes!

I just got back from the Frio river and never in my wildest imagination would I figure I would have had a trip like this! I took all the Cubes I had.. About 6 Gr.. I figured we would split it and have at least one good night! But I was bummed out that that is all I had! Well We got there on Thursday night and kicked back and took it easy..
Friday morning I tell my buddy we would consume tonight! That was a wild night in the Hammock! Well on Saturday morning I walked down the river fishing a mile or so. And I found a slot of property with cows on it! My heart was racing as I steeped over the barbed wire fence.. I got about 20 steps into the woods and all I see is Copes everywhere! Almost every patty had a cluster! I about fell over. I had no intention of finding actives while on this camping trip! I hunted on Saturday morning for two hours and covered about a mile and a half. I came back with about a pound of wet Copes and other pans.. I set them out on Paper Towels in a cookie sheet Intel I could get a better ID on the Haul.. Well I went about popping the caps and laying them down on paper towels.. In a couple hours I checked in on them and to my surprise all were dropping Jet Black spore! So then I figure I would go back this morning! I came back with just under a pound wet I cant get into the trip report at this moment I'm still filtering threw 400 pictures I have taken over the last 4 days... In the last 4 days I have seen things I never figured I would see... More later when I get my head Uta my AZ... Oh ya and the Copes in the Tree! Man I was laughing my ass off A patty hung in a bush with a cluster of Copes hanging out in it! Enjoy the picks.. I have an ass load more I will post later! Also Thea's were not all Copes.. The Pan looking ones are some sort of Active also but I have no idea on the Genus.. Any help?
