Do you believe ? If so, do your actions in this life affect next life ?

Yes. No...i don't really believe that Good Deeds will send you to a Good Place. But I think that the purpose is to learn, with the goal of finally understanding. Everything comes down to love..i pretty much believe the purpose is to fully realize this, and understand it completely.

Yes. And I believe that you learn from your actions in this life, and carry those lessons into the next life, so yes.

As people with head injuries lose memories and even their basic persona changes, there is nothing to substantiate (other than wishful thinking) that memories and even who we are, are located anywhere else than in the brain.

Sorry but I must disagree. Who we are is stored in the soul. Losing conscious memory of something does not mean that it is lost forever. People who have undergone great amounts of fear or stress can 'forget' what occured, but they still remember. Wishful thinking does not account for 2 year old boys in Malaysia who can speak a foreign language and recall in great detail the town of their previous life, name the names of their wife and children who are still alive, and name specific landmarks in that town. There is nothing to substantiate that memories are stored only in the brain, as well.

Since I'm here I might as well drop a thought. The brain is a meaningless wad. All it does is process things in a certain way, things that are already there, and always will be there. If you get past the thought that you are your brain and that what the brain does is "you", you will find yourself in a much better postition.

I think it processes even less than it filters, and interprets. And my answer is yes/yes

There is nothing to substantiate that memories are stored only in the brain, as well. Once again you defy all laws of logic. Negative statments cannot be disproven . You know this, yet keep offering them as some sort of argument. There is nothing to substantiate that the grapefruit on my kitchen counter doesn't hold all my memories - so what? What there is - is overpowering evidence that the brain DOES contain memories. Try visiting an old people's home or someone with Alzheimer's disease.

The brain is a meaningless wad. Your appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the human body is appalling.
