Cool, excellent work.
I think the shroom should go on the front and the bigger molecule image should go on the back (of the shirt)
And there should be some sort of witty message too methinks.

There's A LOT more out there, just start with these, they all have links to other ones, and they have new links and so on, so you won't run dry for a while.
And definetely get 6.0, many tutorials are based on the features it introduces, especially layer-effects, which are indispensible. (I look forward to when *all filters* work like layers, that's gonna be heaven. total non-destructive editin, ... but I'm rambling)

i fudged with photoshop on my own for about 4 years before i got to the level I am at, where what i can create is endless ... but heartily suggest using tutorials or getting lessons, i don't think you want to have to screw around with it for 4 years also before you understand it all...
my best tip is, it's all about the Pen Tool, Fill, Contract, then delete, and voila, you have Illustrator in Adobe Photoshop. I love those programs. soooo much you can do with them
