get a trashbag and duct tape it on the inside of the plastic. You will see how it works when you start doing it. Take the time to do a nice pretty job and you will be rewarded.
But with 37% percent i would say your coolmist isnt working too hot.
It might not be the humidifier though. Let me know how you ended up seeting the tubes and all that. But definatly needs a bottom.

oh and thats why alot of us greenhouse growers use ultrasoics for humidity and cool mists for temp reduction and air exhange.

ok so use the perlite for humidity. just make sure atleast 1/3 of it is not submerged in water. You might need to go with a larges surface area of perlite sinces its such a large space and the coolmist is consantly providing air exchange which does reduce humidity. Although if you seal the bottom i think you will see a dramatic increase in humidity.

slow down just doo one little piece of tape at a time. Tear off a sliver and work in small sections. like 6" at a ime. that way you dont have to wrestle the whole thing at once.

I just got my 4 tier this week and I have a couple weeks to get it up and running before I have some casings to put in it. Here is my plan for the bottom, tell me how you think it might work. I am going to build a wooden box with no top. 20in. wide x 28in. long x 5in. tall. I will then line the box with plastic so that it is watertight. The plastic on my 4tier goes to within .5in. from the floor, so I am going to put the whole 4 tier in the box. Those dimensions will give me a half inch gap around the sides of the 4 tier. Then I plan on putting 3inches of perlite and 1 inch of water in the box. The plastic will actually push down into the perlite, and the bottom inch or two of the front flap can just lay on the perlite. I am going to run an ultrasonic and a cool mist into it. The perlite should help with the humdity and the pre-made box will be great for catching my water. If it doesn't work well, I am pretty handy with the duct tape hehe.

the instructions that come w/ my coolmist say that it will prob. malfunction if you leave it running in an atm. of < 50% RH.
i guess it will work but i'd just set it next to it and pipe the exhaust in
i'll put some pics up of how i did my martha/ultra/CM setup and hopefully that will give ya some ideas shroomguy

mine isn't taped off..... my humidifier is at the top blowing down..... i have the same greenhouse as you do.

if you have coolmist and ultrasonic no need for perlite. You wont want to use perlite after trying it anyways. Just tape a trash bag to the bottom of the greenhouse make it water tight all the way around execpt the flap (of course). no need for the box or the perlite with your setup as long as you just pipe in the air and mist.
