Inflation
    #481915 - 12/06/01 12:20 PM (22 years, 3 months ago)

If I was president....
I would raise inflation by 100%
Cons
Decreased security of money
Bankruptcy of businesses and banks
People in retirement would be sent back to work
Pros
Degradement of Class system further
Currency begins to become equal worldwide
All around lower class stability

I think this might work in a majority vote.
Opinions....

If you didn't get your ass kicked out of the whitehouse you'd be a 1 term president...your idea has to be the dumbest idea i have ever heard...take economics and you'll see why your idea is flawed.

****Degradement of Class system further****

Yeah..everyone becomes poor

****Currency begins to become equal worldwide****

Wrong....the US dollar does not live in a vacum...if the us dollar were to lose worth, the Yen, pound, and all other currencies would drop as well...i thought this was common knowledge....ie: Global Economy

****All around lower class stability ****

As i said..all poor people...sounds like utopia.....as Jimmy Carter how nice it was during his double digit inflation term..

So you don't think it is a good idea?
You would do the opposite, lower inflation.
Maybe noone really knows what would happen because that level of inflation has never been seen. I did mention 100% or higher, the highest you have ever seen was what? And what happened. You have to excuse me, for not having the time and money to have recieved this global economics degree of yours, but unlike you I have talked with some of the highest officials on the matter who work for the world bank, and they seem to agree on ideas like these, for theoretical views, not to be put into action.

***You would do the opposite, lower inflation. ***

Yep

***Maybe noone really knows what would happen because that level of inflation has never been seen****

HUH?...it is monitored quite closly and is listed monthly if not daily.

****I did mention 100% or higher, the highest you have ever seen was what? ****

During the Carter administration it was into the double digits..around 14% i believe. But i don't remember the exact number but it was in the double digits.

***And what happened. ****

fallen economy of the 1970's ie: Carter administration

****You have to excuse me, for not having the time and money to have recieved this global economics degree of yours****

but then you make rediculous plans for the future based on ignorance? Global economics is based on common sense.

****but unlike you I have talked with some of the highest officials on the matter who work for the world bank****

Yeah Right....Then they are idiots because basic economics would prove them wrong. Ask them how great it was in the 70's.

Unlike you i have taken Global Economics and know your plan is severlly flawed. Ask your "so called" experts what happens to country's dependant on U.S. Imports when the U.S. economy flops....no more imports, no more sales no more economy.....

****and they seem to agree on ideas like these, for theoretical views, not to be put into action****

If these ideas are so gret then why can't they be put into action..CONTRADICTION.

It would happen under a global treaty, an all around agreement to raise inflation over a 1 year period at 100% or higher. With advance warning, and church support for those effected by homelessness, it would marginilize secured assets. Right? So in turn all secured money held by banks and people would dissapear and people would relie on present income. The point I want to make is that of evening the class system. Carter was a great President though..
I don't know I am just throwing out Ideas, so you will awnser them, it seems to work. But also, I did break into the world bank before for a week, and it seemed that all were diplomats of united nations countries, who for the life of them could not figure out how to raise their countries bill to that of an american dollar. But with this project in a global treaty, what would happen?

They seem understaffed as well, for the 13 floors, only 5 are staffed, they need to hire more people, maybe you should go apply, as a united states representative to Cuba, they need to raise their currency, correct?

I am not trying to make him angry but to learn what he has. My guess from the first are based on guesses. But obviosly I'm wrong, but informed know.
But in all seriousness, the economies besides those enrolled in the united nations to be examined as well, they could learn something. If there is no position described, then it needs to be filled. Hell, If I was a millionaire I might hire him for the sake that he has a global economics degree, and dreams about eating shrooms when they are legal.

I really messed up there what I was really trying to say. See I just now understand inflation, and that is definitely not a good thing but definitely will happen when what i propose comes into effect. I would flood the u.s. market with money. Since congress has the power to control this I would put a plan into action with gunpoints at the heads of every rich bastard in congress which would flood the economy with money. Just start producing mad loot at an even pace though. What do you think of that theory and how it relates to the charts. And what is that called?

****and that is definitely not a good thing but definitely will happen when what i propose comes into effect.****

no shit....man just take a class and your problems...at least one of them, will be solved

****Since congress has the power to control this I would put a plan into action with gunpoints at the heads of every rich bastard in congress which would flood the economy with money****

and just how would you do it...and why?..if you just realized inflation's a bad thing then i would set my goals a little lower

****What do you think of that theory and how it relates to the charts. And what is that called? ****

i still think your stoned....stay in school kids..

It is not a bad thing if you flood the economy with money. Then people will be able to afford the inflated goods.
It has been shown that over the 60 years of inflation it has helped the economy, correct? You seem so greedy with that knowledge of yours. If you could just help a brother out,
maybe i can dodge those expensive college classes that you had to kill motherfuckers for.
Also I met with The directer of Southeast asian banking, who directs plans on the improvement of southeast asian banking. So with this plan it would help their economy. I was'nt really in the position of discussing economies with every director of the world bank. There are about 200 of them.

****It is not a bad thing if you flood the economy with money. Then people will be able to afford the inflated goods.****

If you do that then your money will decrease in value in the global economy. Sure you'll have more money but it will be worth the same, 3 steps forward and 3 steps back

***It has been shown that over the 60 years of inflation it has helped the economy, correct? ***

yeah when it's low it incourages growth. The higher the inflation the less likely people are to spend

****You seem so greedy with that knowledge of yours. If you could just help a brother out****

first off, your not my brother and second the knowledge i am hoarding is common knowledge.

****maybe i can dodge those expensive college classes that you had to kill motherfuckers for. ***

You start to make a tad bit of sense then you say something like this. I have my classes already...nobody died

****Also I met with The directer of Southeast asian banking, who directs plans on the improvement of southeast asian banking. ****

and this numbnut told you inflation is good?...ask him how SE asia's economy is doing right now

****So with this plan it would help their economy***

i'm still curious how? If you give he a hundred bucks to buy food and raise the cost of bread to 100 dollars i'm in the same position i was in before. The more money put out the lower it's worth.

***. I was'nt really in the position of discussing economies with every director of the world bank. There are about 200 of them. ****

you started the topic..not me

Because it is a known fact that the majority of upper class are bank owners and affiliates of bank owners, land owners business owners. Their whole retirement at ages of birth is based on the concept that the value of money will stay the same. If you can keep disrupting the economy by flooding the market, then more money is coming out of nothing, thus creating less secured money of banks, and more made money for the working class. So in that over time class systems disintegrate. There are more middle class and lower class then upper class, so a plan like this would be supported. Last time I checked it was like 30 to one or something, before that it was 50 to one, and then before that who knows? The dude does not speak english too, i am only theorizing on the psychic thoughts i heard from him. Thoughts like on how if you made the money medium of the united states the mexican dollar then the world economy would bustle, and the u.s.'s would not. I have no loyalty to money or countrie's wealth, i only think in terms of putting to work the million of aristocrats who just sit, Because of theories that were taught to you from the root of the problem, you teach on so that I can be one in the same. I don't want to be lazy, i enjoy work. You are my brother techinically to, all people are one, descended from the same root.

you've confused me on this one...it's common knowledge that money NEVER stays the same.

****thus creating less secured money of banks, and more made money for the working class****

your assuming that the money's worth will be the same and the "working class" will be the only ones reaping the benefits. One other thing...how does flooding the market with money put more money in the pockets of the working class...when they will be paid the same

****There are more middle class and lower class then upper class, so a plan like this would be supported. ***

by making everyone poor? your assuming again that the rich will be the only one's affected adversaly.

****The dude does not speak english too, i am only theorizing on the psychic thoughts i heard from him****

psychic thoughts?..eh ok

****Thoughts like on how if you made the money medium of the united states the mexican dollar then the world economy would bustle, and the u.s.'s would not. *****

the peso is dependant on the US dollar if the dollar was devalued the peso would plummet...are you sure this guy isn't just bullshitting you?

****I have no loyalty to money or countrie's wealth, i only think in terms of putting to work the million of aristocrats who just sit****

i hope you never have to run an international business......as for aristocrates who sit do you mean lazy people?

****Because of theories that were taught to you from the root of the problem****

Therories have been taught to me by common sense and capitalism.....your theories are, dare i say drug induced.

****you teach on so that I can be one in the same. ***

no i intervene so that people know you are anti-success...socialistic

****You are my brother techinically to, all people are one, descended from the same root. ****

i don't think so
