Innoculation Overkill?

I was innoculating for the first time tonite, and i sort of fucked up on my first squirt and gave one side of jar a nice 3cc's of spore-juice. Has anyone out there done this? Is my poor jar doomed, or will it be more well endowed than my other jars? Any knowledge would be appreciated.

Man why did you do that? Dude your fucked now! The only way of resolving this issue is by useing a 2500 watt hair dryer on a high setting to dry off that one side of the jar.
naw, just bullshittin! Your fine dude!

It'll probably colonize faster. When I innoculate with honey water, I always use 4 CCs per jar (1cc/hole) and it goes much faster that way, I can drip it all the way to the bottom

4 cc spread out at 1cc in 4 places is fine but 3cc all in one spot would make that spot kinda wet, maybe too wet for germination. You might want to tilt the jar a bit so it spreads out.

Captain Max is right, if you tilt it a little, it will help you not have a completely colonized side before the other sides are done. That's the only disadvantage here, one side getting done first, but it will all definitely get colonized.

I have to ask another question as i am newb too. If you do spray one side of the jar with extra spores, when it starts to grow like 30% can you shake up the mycelium in there to move it around in there a little? Or would it be better to give it a little shake right after the inoculation?

No it won't. It's a waste.
One CC is more than enough.
Only problem I could see is putting in enough to mess with water content...

No Problem in the middle. 3cc is a waste though. Learn to use LC to save money on syringes. Some would say less is better due to fewer different spores germinating and competing against each other. Also if your 10ml syringe has 1 single contaminant floating in it, it must come out sometime. If you squirt 3cc in a jar it has more of a chance of having the contam in it than if you use .25cc
