Obviously , all these folks have either tried scraping spores into a jar and failed, or, they're using syringes and that's ALL they will ever try.
I've colonized over 40 jars with a spore print and never had a contam. I actually had my first jar fall to contams last month and that one was innocced with a syringe.....
So, it Probly all comes down to your sterile technique.
In between the fucks, what MAIA said is right: use a glovebox and lift the lids off.

You can make your own syringes easy. Look up the Sporeworks method. It's the easiest in my opinion.

No, if you used a layer of vermiculite on your cakes.
In this case the spores would have landed on dry vermiculite and they can?t sprout there.
If you didn?t use the top dry vermiculite layer, the spores might germinate, but so will contaminants and that?s not a good thing.
So, follow the advice of other fellow shroomers:

i can understand what some of yuo guys trin to say... but for all you others.....what the fuck!!!! yall acting like fuckin pussyz.getting all pissed off cauz a mutha fuck asked a question. like i said either you can help or you cant.well going back to what i needed help with in the first place this is how it goes:i steralized a knife until red hot than i put the shit under a fuckin glass jar so it wouldnt fuck up.waited an hour let the shit cool off than proceded to step "doss". took the spore print scrached just a little off and proceded to step "thrace".took the knife that already had the print on it and stuck it on the top of the jar.the jar is side ways with some water droplets on the top of it.like its laying on its side and the subscrate also.so it seems as if it already had a spore syringe in it. like what the fuck does a syinge contain: water n spores so what does my jar contain....water n spores. ill keep all yall updated on the shit and to all the ignorant fucks i already got my fuckin GED and theyre aint nothing wrong with that...and if you do see something wrong with that ....get yo flowa ass punk ass that thinks theyre better than everyone out you dont know me and if u did i know damn well u wouldnt have the balls to talk shit anywayz to me.this fuckin post wasnt suppose to end up a bitch session rather a nigga needed help!!!!!so fuck all yall trying to be lil ass hoes and thanks for the people who gave me positive feedback. like the shit aint going to work thankz for letting me know so than ill be prepared to have a fuckin cake lost.

What you need to do, is talk to Captain max, who posted in this thread, and have him send you some syringes. If you sling, you prolly know some junkies, hit them up.
But Captain Max had my shit to me PRONTO. No problems, in great time.
