To pick or not to pick

I have a four cakes. Two of them have one large mushroom growing out of the top. The rest of the cakes have nothing growing or have tiny primordia (aborts?). The things is, the veils have broken on the two big mushies I *do* have.

So my question is - should I pick them, or should I wait until more grow before picking them?

Pick them, unless you want to take prints, then wait a bit longer for the cap to flatten.
