Hello
I have a plan for once i grow out my first crop. I want to do an alchohol extraction of the magic similar to the one on the fanaticus website
Then I plan on going one step further, by adding sugar to the extract and evaporating the alchohol. I would measure out enough sugar to fit one dose worth of magic in one 00 gelcap.
Has anyone ever experimented with the extraction? how did it work?
Any input on my little experiment would be greatly appreciated!

i wouldnt do that for your first harvest. its possible it wont work, friend followed pf extraxction to the tee and didnt work. waste of fruits. try a small batch, perhaps not you first.

I might be able to help. You're not doing a true extraction using this method ( this is just for the record). This will extract the magic along with any thing else that is soluble in alcohol. If you do try this, keep in mind that your product will be much more potent(concentrated) than what you started with. First, "extract" the magic and let the solvent evaporate off. Then, use geometric dilution to ensure that the magic is evenly distributed throughout the sugar. This is only important if you are making more than one dose. Geometric dilution means you add an amount of sugar (diluant) that is of equal mass to that of the magic. So, if you had one teaspoon of extract ( which is an awful lot) you would add one teaspoon of sugar and then mix. If you need to dilute more, you would now add two teaspoons of sugar to the above and mix. Now you divide into equal doses. Each one should contain the same amount of drug and nobody gets a bum dose or a too strong a dose. Hope this makes sense.

Instead of doing a extraction you might want to try drying your shrooms and powdering them in a coffie grinder. Then you can put this powder into gel caps. Of coarse you will have more than one 00 gelcap, but it would probibly be a more realistic approach.
You can also approximate how many pills would equal one dose by doing some simple math with weight measurements.

Thank you all for your input.
I plan on only using a small amount for my first try (maybe one or two doses). With the geometric dilution, does it need to be 1:1 at first o could i use like a 4:1 ratio, as long as its geometric?

The term geometric implies that the ratios are equal (1:1). This is how you can be sure that the drug is mixed evenly with your diluant. This is how they taught us how to do it way back when in pharmacy school.But they were not teaching us about shrooms. The principle is still the same. Keep in mind that you will be working with a very small amount of drug. MAKE SURE YOU MIX IT WELLLLLLL!!!! Otherwise, you are going to be in for the trip of your life! Also expect it to set in very fast. I would try the coffee grinder method. It would be alot more predictable.

ive used the grind and gelcap methode many times. with an adequate tamping device i have found you can usually fit up to .8 to in a 00 cap or 1.2 in a 000 cap. they are horsepills but they are easy to swallow. i like doing this so i dont have to eat 6+g of dry cubes
