Panaeolus Cambodegenisis
    #478855 - 12/03/01 10:17 PM (22 years, 4 months ago)

Anyone heard anything about this species? I noticed that the hawks eye has spores for sale, but I haven't heard anything about this species other than the name, heh. How potent is it, does it grow the same as cyans and trops, where is it commonly found, etc, etc, etc? heh. Any info is appreciated : )

Panaeolus cambodginiensis (this is the correct spelling) is the more potent panaeolus specie. It grows in the same way as cyans and trops. a dung/straw/compost substrate is needed.

Originally identified from Cambodia by Ola'h then in Hawaii by Allen and Merlin, also in Peru.

This was analysed as the most potent species of Copelandia to date.

See Species Identification of Hawaiian shrooms at:

under articles inthe site index.

Anyone know of anything this species "likes" that the other Pan species don't? Also, does it produce spores very well? Thanks for the info ahead of time ; )
