From Jar to Terrarium
    #4796811 - 10/13/05 03:23 AM (19 years, 3 months ago)

I have recently started growing mushrooms in 3 Jars, with a small heat pad underneath a few towles to keep it nice and warm. i followed the proper steps (from what my friend did) to make cakes. i used brown rice and bran. 2 of my 3 jars have mycelium growing in them and he said something about soon ill need to put it in a terrarium. As of them, me and him are no longer on speaking terms PERIOD, and right now i want to know what is my next step and when should i translpant my culture if at all. Right now im getting alot of white fuzz on 2 of the 3 jars, the other one completely isnt growing, im about to toss it... Anyway, what is my next step from here because i have NO idea what to do next, i just need a little help... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME i dont want my project to go to waste. thank you

Use the "search" feature here. It sounds like you have plenty of time to do some reading while your jars finish colonizing, so get to it!
