Yeah, City of Lost Children and Delicatessen are fucking gorgeous...end of story. Naturally, if I want to go see Amelie, I have to trek up to Portland. Yeah, 600 mile round trip to see a movie because Cinemark thinks I'm the only asshole around unwilling to be placated with fucking Shallow Hal and Black Knight. Filthy cocksuckers. I did get to see The Man Who Wasn't There tonight though...The Coen Brothers latest, so I can't cry too much.

Unfortunately for him he did...although he didn't speak a word of English at the time. So, I imagine he was in way over his head and got fucked around by the studio quite a lot. Which would explain why it was such a steaming pile.

Mindfulness is the aware, balanced acceptance of the present experience.
It isn't more complicated than that.
It is opening to or recieving the present moment, pleasant or unpleasant, just as it is,
without either clinging to it or rejecting it.
