Do you think that private American individuals with no connection to
any government agency will make efforts to strike out at Muslims(in
America or away from America)? Do you think Americans will be
willing to commit suicide to strike out at Muslims? Or do you
think Americans would never do this?

There was tones of people "striking out" at muslims after 9/11. But no american would ever use suicide bombing, they are no where near that righteous.

I don't think the people with military might would resort to suicide bombings. That's more the kind of tactic that someone who's outnumbered and overpowered would use.

If my memory is correct, this has already happened. There was a case (sorry, no link) a month or two after 9/11 where some dude drove his truck into a convenience store and then shot/killed the Arab guy behind the counter. He didn't rob the place, either, just killed him. I think when they were bringing him in he was quoted as saying "I was protecting America".

No I doubt many Americans (or Westerners in general) would be willing to give it all just for a single blaze of glory. We seem to be more of the mind to get away and fight another day

I don't think a suicide bomb is feasible...that is
the lowest level of desperation an antagonist could
stoop to.
personally, what elements in the US gov did involving
the two WTC bombings, Ruby Ridge and Waco all strike
me as americans committing terrorism.

I believe one man was arrested in 2002 for plotting to burn down or blow up several mosques in the U.S. Here at least, a drive by shooting targeted an inner city Mosque after the London bombings.

I'd say Waco was "American terrorism" as well. If McVeigh was the bomber, I'd say he was a suicide bomber.

Not really. It's a tactic that the poor and ill-equiped use. There's nothing subhuman about military tactics that essentially work, and not all suicide bombings target civilians (if that was your implication as to why suicide bombers are subhuman).

Anyways though, Osama Bin Laden is right; Americans love life and him and Muslim extremists love death (has something to do with virgins?). We don't want to die, and that is why we won't commit suicide terrorism and that is why even if we did it wouldn't work, but going the opposite way our survival instincts make us great targets for terrorism.
