in my opinion Dj tiesto is the king of all techno ? disagree or agree 
close behind in the new wave of techno i'd have to say infected mushroom is GREAT if you havent hear any of there songs id recomend you download these
Favorite songs :
Dj tiesto- zillion, gouryella, vimana, blue sky, insomnia, suburban train
Infected mushroom- Never ever land, frog machine, bacteria, acid killer, arabian nights on mescaline, desert storm, psycho, boombat, mush mushi,sailing in the sea of mushrooms

There was a time where I used to like Tiesto, but that was when I first started listining to Trance. But now that I know of other Dj's I realize how Tiesto sucks! In my opinion Armin Van Buuren is way better. But theres also tons of other great Dj's out there, unfortunetly alot of them dont get the opportunity in the spot light. Check out Dj Kristoff, he's a pretty damn good DJ. His website should still host his mixes.
As for Infected Mushroom, they are ok. Like I said, theres tons of artist out there who are better but arnt as well known.

Oh and by the way arabian nights on mescaline is by GMS not infected mushroom.

To me, the kings of electronic music are Michael and Marcus from Boards of Canada.
And, although trance music is not my cup of tea, I think that both DJ Tiesto and Infected Mushroom ar very far from being the best in this genre.

good god, infected mushroom is better, at least in my opinion. I dont know about some of the new infected stuff, but their classic psy blows away anything tiesto has ever made. Again thats just my opinion.

I would definitely have to disagree with you. Many artists have done much better and more progressive work than Tiesto.
To me, the most important artists are as follows:
I-F (aka Parallax Corporation). He's responsible for the Inter-ferred label, creator of the Cybernetic Broadcasting System, and the producer of many seminole tracks, including "Space Invaders are Smoking Grass".
Der Zyklus (aka Glass Domain/Dopplereffekt/Japanese Telecom)- This guy is a god of good electro.
A:// (aka Le Syndicat Electronique)- creator of the Invasion Planete label. Best record label EVAR.
These guys are just a few of countless others who've done more for the advancement of electronic dance music than Tiesto ever has by spinning his crappy trance records. Of course, all of this is just my opinion. I'm sure you have reasons for liking what you like.

 i've had a phase with both
Tiesto is good but very "commercially" if that makes sense, and i'd call it trance NOT techno in my oppinion 
As for Infected they're great, but as everyone says some of the less known artists are even better!
