Cause yeah, you can never have enough electronics to play with...

Are you going to make something, fix something, or just hook everything together and see what happens?

I'm trying to convert the flash unit from a disposable camera into a battery-operated pocket strobe-light.
Or I could be building a doomsday machine to take over the world. One or the other

Be careful with those disposable cameras. I was fucking around with one a few years ago when I was bored. I took the paper cover off and everything and took the battery out of the holder for the flash. When I put it back in I grabbed both metal ends of the holder and the fucker zapped me real good. I felt my arm muscles contract and I let out this involuntary yell. It was funny as fuck. It was more of a retarded moan than a yell. Kinda like ZZAAP! *FLASH* "MUUUUHHHHHHHH DAMNIT!"

Not just any retarded moan. I had no control over it. I never heard that noise come out of me before and never since. It gave me a good laugh after the tingling subsided.

Hehe, yeah the capacitors in cameras hold a good 350-400 volts of juice so they pack quite a punch!
I've taken a few bites from my HeNe laser though, at 1500v, so I know all about that twitch and retarded moan (except with 1500v you jump a good foot or two in the air!)

You should invest your money in things like hydro equipment... hell I scrapped my computer up from all used parts, didn't cost me a thing. It's an old Power Mac G3.

It's still Radio Shack where I live. Circuit City is a completely different store.

Circuit City Stores and InterTAN Canada today announced that by July 1, 2005, all Radio Shack stores in Canada will be re-named The Source by Circuit City.
Effective today, the companies Toronto Eaton Centre location will be the first store to fly the new banner.
Only in canada though... my bad.
