Any growers who have dreadlocks?

I will begin growing psilocybe mushrooms using the pf tek soon and my head is equipped with a set of long dreadlocks. Let's face it, those buddies must absorb contaminants pretty well. Does anybody have tips for preventing dreadlocks from contaminating the jars as I inoculate them? Is fixing a plastic bag on my head with duck tape the only solution? Hehe I would look funny that way.
Also, is smoking in the room where the srooms grow a problem? They will be in my closet.
Thanks for any input, Guillaume

If you got a beenie/knit cap that should work to hold your dreads back. I would try to find a shower cap and but it over that. I think you could probably find them at CVS or Walgreens.
If you have a closet door and the mushrooms and in containers/martha/whatever that is sealed smoking shouldnt be a problem. I wouldnt smoke cigs anywhere in the room though just to be safe. Pot smoke is easier to get rid of and not so full with other harmful chemicals.
