Very cool. Still tons of aborts though. Al well maybe next time. Good job so far though! I can?t wait to set my terrarium up, still waiting for this P.R. isolate to colinize.

hey, give more updates plz!
it?s been a few days since last pics were up.
did u clean up the pinnings on the other casings to make room for some healthy ones? or are u plannin to wait it out and let the second flush go right thru that forest? hehe

I didn?t do anything....I just spoke to my cat (she is very smart and has advanced vocal cords for a feline) and she said that I can take some more pictures within the next 24 hours. but she did tell me that there was a major de-forestation and that there was about 170 wet grams of aborts off the four casings and and about 100 wet grams of fruit. the first tray is reportedly on its second flush, with less pins, but many healthy looking primordia.

on another note, I have heard rumors that the PRs are more body then visual. anyone confirm?

Peace, ar393 and Cat

okay, I was corrected by my cat. there are 21 dry grams of aborts. this is the second flush of that first casing, looks much better no?

BTW there were about 20 mature fruits off the first flush of the casings, you can see one those mature fruits from the other casing in the foreground of this picture.

peace, ar393

Hey ar393,
what is your CAT using as a humidifier in her setup ?

Also, what are you using for lighting?

my cat uses a fishtank heater submerged fully underwater, then there is a shelf so to speak holding the casings. also there is a fishtnk pump connected to an airstone. the airstone sits in the water directly under where the fan hangs.
peace, ar393 and cat

oh, about the lighting. the container is mostly clear. but the top is purple, but also kinda clear. it just gets whatever light it gets. though I did post a thought I had about using a string of xmas lights somewhere in advanced i think.

cool man,

well my room temp is on avg around 64-67 degrees so I was going to use a fish tank heater to heat my chamber... Wait, so a fish tank pump can actually keep the humidity up without perilte? Or do you use perilte too?

yah one more thing, how do you hook up the fan to an outlet?I like that idea just for simply circulating air.

no that is co-ax cable. I used any old DC converter, my cat cant strip wires (damned paws again....)

peace, ar393 and Cat

BTW any old old old timers that remember back in the day it was ar393 and Garcia the Turtle, but Garcia died in october of 99. I havent gotten a new pet. The cat had been around before the turtle, but didnt have the capacity to case then, she has learned a lot from Garcia.

peace, ar393 and Cat

this is tray one?s second real flush, earlier.

this is tray two?s second real flush, earlier.

tray 2 again, notice how the caps are different shades even though they are the same strain grow on on the same casing from the same substrate.

prints off those caps.

Third flush of tray 2

monday morning...

very early wednesday morning...

late wednesday night...

thursday morning...

peace, ar393 and cat (now with greater dexterity....)

beautiful shrooms bro, nice and big, healthy looking..

I can only imagine how much bigger your yield would of been if it wern?t for all those damn aborts. but still, you got some nice flushes.

good work buddy :)

What is the cause for having so little fruit off of so many darn pins?
