My buddies and I are all going to be home for christmas break soon. We all want to shroom, preferably outside. We think it would be fuckin sick to trip outside in the snow, but we're worried about the temp. We shroomed this summer outside when it was fuckin HOT...and it kinda made us uncomfortable and irritable.
My question is:
If we bundle up do you all think we'll have a problem?
We're thinkin about just walking around this neighborhood that has all these x-mas lights late at night...hopefully it will be snowing at the time. Should bring out some intense and happy visuals. If anyone has done something comparable to this then please give info/opinion...thanks.

that's exactly what I was planning. it would be cool even without snow. But I definately want to trip in the snow sometime, must be sooo cool

hey..i've had cid experiences in the snow. it's great..i didnt go outside exactly, but last year we had about 10 inches and alot of it gathered on my roof. My bf and i hung out the window in our undershirts and had a purple snowball fight (snow is kinda purpley under blacklight..we had one pointing out the window)..but yeah..on cid definatley temp messes with you..hot is nasty..cold is usualy pretty nice...for a short period of time. go have fun in the snow..it's great..

its definately a blast .. Ive shroomed and dosed doing exactly that tons of times, make sure u have somewhere to retreat when u r done wandering though. peace. have fun!

I've been planning this "trip" too. For quite some time actually. Its funny though, cause this is one year where I actually want it to snow and it hasnt yet. Most years im in snow up to my nuts already...

I was about to say the same thing about the sledding... thats fun to do when you're tripping too... just make sure you're sledding on a hill without any trees or other stuff that might hurt you. Christmas, Halloween, and the fourth of july are some of the best times to trip... Xmas you have snow and lights like you're talking about, halloween you have a bunch of kids dressed up and flashlights and stuff like that, fourth of july you have fireworks and the weather is perfect for a party outdoors : ) Be sure you bundle up good for your trip, might also be a good idea to bring something to drink with you. I always get thirsty as hell when I'm bundled up in the winter and outside for a while, I'd be paranoid about eating the snow when I'm tripping, heh... could be dirty or something : )~ I think hot chocolate would be great to have after you come back from outside or just to take a break and have a glass, heh. I always appreciate how good stuff tastes when I'm tripping, hot chocolate would be the shit. Should be fun, I had planned on getting with some friends over xmas break and tripping also... don't think we're gonna get any snow here though.

Snow sledding!! Didn't think about that one...we're on it now though. See I'm going home to Spokane, WA if you guys have any idea where that is, but it's the east side of the state...not near Seattle, about 400,000 people. Anyways, it's already snowed about 15 inches or something over there, so it's not a problem to get the snow. Everything's planned, except we don't have a retreat spot, none of our houses will be open, so we're just hoping we can handle the weather. I'm sure it will be fine, I usually forget about the little things like that when I'm shrooming...

i haved triped in the snow or anything, but last friday i rolled outside and christmas lights were fuckin cool, so im guessing if i was tripping than it would be a blast

Yeah, I'm hoping for snow on the equinox. Going to go to a little revene a few miles hike behind my house, bundle up nice and cozy around a fire, and get in tune with the universe.

yeah, that's what I was thinking about trying...I just went snowboarding on saturday and I brought a bag of cyanescens, but it was too crowded and we ended up standing in the lines more than snowboarding. so ended up taking them in the car on the way home. But I'm thinking it would be a bad idea to eat more than a gram or two and go snowboarding, but maybe it just depends how good you are. I've only been 3 times.

I never felt too cold, because I was always bundled up and sometimes the snow can just make you feel cozy. It is nice to bring a thermos full of hot tea or cocoa or something and then you feel like you are carrying portable heat with you. Once I was tripping in the snow and saw some deer.
