ok so after three days of downloading, i tried to play the movies. they dont work. apparently i dont have the right codec. i tried real player, media player classic, and windows media player 9... and all i could get was sound. no video.

any ideas? please help me out if you can. id love to watch these movies.

nevermind i figured it out im an idiot, its just an avi and i forgot to reinstally the divx codec after my last reformat.

Sorry for bringing this old post back, but...

I just downloaded it(took me forever) and it won't work. Like, it downloaded successfully and is in avi. form. I tryed to play it in the newest version of media player(or one of the newer ones anyway) and realplayer. They are both pretty new versions and have all the updates to my recollection. And all I can get is the sound. The video won't play.

Well I think realplayer actually needs an update.

This time it said, "To play this file, an update is needed". I went to go update, but cant.

You see, my dad found out what I was downloading and now made a seperate account so I can't download.

Omg you torrent noobs.

Download Azureus and install it. Then, download the torrent file from the link posted. Then, drag the torrent file into Azureus and it will download (you will have to choose a destination path to save the file to). Then, the actual documentary movie will download. It takes a while, but it's well worth it.

I don't know what codec is necessary to play the video + audio, but it worked fine in my windows media player (newest version). Perhaps its DivX Codec? If your windows media player isn't updated, then update it. The documentary is worth all the "trouble."
