Possible Contamination
    #4779309 -

hey all look im a bit of a newb at cultivation and ive just got my first batch ready and growing (after much pain and many failures) now it looks to me as though one of my cakes could be contaminated.  There is a bluish discolouration running through the center of the cake (all the way round) and other bluish spots near where the mushrooms are fruiting from.  So im wondering if this is contamination or some form of bruising  i really don't know so if someone more experienced out there could give me their opinion that would be awesome.  The setup im using is a perlite terrarium (styrofoam), mushroom strain is Golden Teacher, temp approx. 22.5c , Humid 90-95%. Cakes weren't 100% colonised when entered into the terrarium, Also i put the cakes in upside down :P so the perlite has been grown through too. Here are some pics

Other than hitting or touching the cake in a certain way to cause bruising, what else may cause it?

Take a cue-tip and rub it on the blueish area.

If the cue-tip comes up clean its bruising
If not it's most likely a contam.

you said your cakes are in there upside down, well the bruising seems to be on a consisten horizontal level so it could have been from the brim of your jars??? just a though...
